Attention BBuzzOff Members:
July 31 will be my last day as the Georgia Tech publisher for 247Sports. Beginning Aug. 1, I will be running an independent site covering Georgia Tech athletics. As soon as I firm up my next destination, I’ll notify BBuzzOff members of the details.
UPDATE: www.GTSportsTalk.com is the address where I will be starting Monday August 1.

buzz, been a good year with 247Sports. Hopefully the new site will enhance the enjoyment you and others have of Georgia Tech sports.
pckl, nothing wrong with this place, the 247Sports folks do a good job.

Jim accepted a pair of socks from Stingtalk.com. He has been suspended from this sight until the NCAA has finished its investigation on this matter. He has also been stripped of his name "Jim ". You can still call him Jim cause that is who he is. But that is not his name. Wes Durham is also under investigation. He has eledgedly been announcing a pro team on the side. NCAA rules prohibit a collogiate announcer from announcing NFL teams.

If GT football doesn't win at least 8 games with a victory over UGA next year, we need to start considering the post-Paul Johnson era.

Unfortunately the vendor that owns the software from the old board hasn't upgraded the engine in four years so it's outdated.
We looked at all the software products on the market and selected the one that will best fit our needs. That will include some innovative features that should be a lot of fun.

Interesting. Stuff like that doesn't bother me. In fact, in many cases, the simpler, the better. I loved the format of the old board, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
