Dennis Andrews becomes Georgia Tech’s commit #6. Andrews is a 6-0, 185 pounder who hales from Godby High School in Tallahassee, Florida.
Andrews falls into that niche that Georgia Tech likes to recruit, he plays quarterback but has multiple position capability. Next year he will play cornerback in addition to quarterback.
In a recent interview with 247Sports, Andrews said that Georgia Tech was recruiting him as a quarterback.
Last season Andrews led his team into the second round of the playoffs, amassing 1500 yards through the air and 600 on the ground.
At a recent combine, Andrews ran a 4.69 in the 40, had a 4.25 shuttle, a 31-8 vertical jump, a 37-foot power ball toss and finished with a 93.45 rating.
Andrews, who is rated as a 3-star player by 247Sports, claims offers from USF, Iowa State, Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky in addition to Georgia Tech.
